385 IGT Toscana Rosso

After 15 years of a great friendship, from the collaboration of two families, "385" IGT Toscana Rosso is released, a wine created by Ciacci Piccolomini d'Aragona in partnership with Gruppo Meregalli, our Italian distributor, with their own winery estate in Maremma, Tenuta Fertuna.

The preview og the wine takes place at Vinitaly 2019 in both stands and then it will be on the market starting from May 1st (60,000 bottles).

385 IGT Toscana Rosso is a wine that has its roots in the historic Sangiovese, the most representative grape of the region, but with a more modern key thanks to the blending with other grape varietals produced by the two wineries, Merlot (20%), Ciliegiolo (10% ) and Syrah (10%). The oenologist is Maurizio Castelli, together with Alex Bianchini and Paolo Rivella.

The name: 385, are the meters above sea level where the company is located in Castelnuovo dell'Abate (Montalcino), in the 17th century Bishop's palace of Ciacci Piccolomini d'Aragona.
